Apart from practical information pertaining to operational usage, topics such as security in thermal oil systems, as well as the current topics of risk management and insurance of plants fitted with thermal oil systems were presented. Intensive discussions between thermal oil manufacturers, insurance specialists, and our engineering specialists meant that practical experience could be exchanged and several questions be discussed. After an interesting and informative two days the participants took many new insights with them on the home journey.
